Camping la Siesta is idyllically located close to the beautiful scenery and spectacular beaches of the Costa Brava. The emplacements are scattered amongst mature pine trees, which provide welcome shade from the hot sun.
The facilities are well maintained, and offer something for everyone - the active will enjoy games of volleyball and tennis, while younger children will have hours of fun at the well equipped children’s playground. The main draw however, is the fabulous pool complex. Here, there is ample space to relax on the spacious sun terrace, and two large pools for swimming. As evening falls, most holidaymakers migrate to the bars and restaurant, or head to nearby Calella where there is a wealth of bars and restaurants.

From La Jonquera (the French border):
Take the A7 motorway in the direction of Barcelona.
Come off on the Figueres Nord exit - approximately 35 km from the French border.
Once you have taken this exit you should follow signs to La Bisbal and Palamòs on the C31.
Palafrugell is situated in between La Bisbal and Palamos.
Once you get to Palafrugell you must follow the Platjes signs - this means beach - to Calella de Palafrugell which is three minutes drive from Palafrugell.
The main entrance to Camping la Siesta is situated on the road between Palafrugell and Calella de Palafrugell, with a big sign indicating the entrance on the right hand side.
Local Area
Camping la Siesta is situated amongst pine forests, a fifteen minute walk up hill from the picturesque town of Calella de Palafrugell. Here you will find all of the basic facilities, including bars and restaurants, as well as a delightful sandy beach, backed by a long promenade. Here there are plenty of coves where you should find a secluded spot.
Children will enjoy a visit to the Animal Park at Sobrestany (45mins drive). Here, they can see animals in a natural environment and take advantage of horse riding lessons that are available. Aquadiver waterpark is just a 30 minute drive away. With fast rivers, water slides and wave pool, fun for all the family is guaranteed.
